Day 1: Kampot Province – Arrival, city tour and dinner at the old town market area

Day 2: 

Option 1: Full Day Tour to La plantation (Kampot Pepper Farm), Phnom Chhngok, Trapeang Sangkae.

Option 2: Full Day Tour to La plantation (Kampot Pepper Farm), Phnom Chhngok, Kep, Salt Farm.

Day 3:Full Day Tour to Bokor National Park and transfer to the city bus or railway station for departure.

                                                                                                          

Day 1 | Arrival at Kampot City:

Pick-up from the Kampot city Railway or Bus station by Car and transfer to our Resort for checking in.

16:00: City tour, visiting Kampot old town and market

Dinner at a local restaurant in the city at your own expense and preference.

Transfer back to the Resort for resting.

Day 2 | Full day tour with 2 options below:

Option 1: Full Day Tour to La plantation (Kampot Pepper Farm), Phnom Chhngok, Trapeang Sangkae.

 08:00am: Leaving from the Resort

Visiting Phnom Chhngok, a temple located close to Kampot in Cambodia. It is the only cave temple in Cambodia and is dedicated to the Hindu God Shiva. The temple ruins are older than the Angkor structures belonging to the Funan era, and it is one of the attractions while visiting Kampot. Phnom Chhngok cave temple is popular among the tourists for its Pre-Angkor period ruins and its remote countryside location surrounded by green fields.

 Continue to visit La Plantation – Kampot Pepper Farm is a social and sustainable family project, the perfect combination of traditional farming and modern processing. La Plantation produces Black, Red, White Kampot pepper and the exclusive Fresh Salted Kampot Pepper, Red Long Pepper, Turmeric, Bird Chili and local fruits. Grown traditionally and harvested by hand, the spices are processed with high standards in quality and hygiene and are certified organic by Ecocert. Presentation, tasting and free guided tour in English, French, and Khmer. You will understand why Kampot Pepper has been elected #1 best pepper in the world. In the afternoon visiting Trapang Sang ke community, the mangrove and fishing protection area community, the area has a very quiet environment with fresh air and natural cool.

Support eco-tourism by visiting and participating in growing the Mangroves, one kind of forest that plays a vital role in maintaining the coastal ecosystem by absorbing carbon dioxide and other toxins, act as barriers against waves and strong winds, help to filter soil and provide breeding grounds for sea creatures.

Purchasing the mangroves for planting and other arrangements are at your own expense.

Finished the tour and come back to the Resort around 4 or 5 p.m for leisure.

Lunch at Crab Market at your own expense and preference either to have it at the Restaurant or purchase the fresh Crabs and seafood directly from resident retailers and ask them to cook for you straight away.

In the Afternoon visit Kep and Crab Market located in a small peaceful seaside village in the Town of Kep. The market has a long-standing history as the locals have been doing business here for decades. You may get overwhelmed by the fact that Kep Crab Market offers some of freshest crabs in the whole world! Especially, the crab and seafood combined with the flavor of Kampot hot pepper are considered by many tourists as the perfect combo you must try when you have a chance to cross by the market.

Continue to visit Salt Field Farm, a must-visit for those who are curious about the local produce and lifestyle, from here, besides enjoying the great landscape of a vast salt field, you can learn the salt production process and understand the hard work of Cambodian farmers have gone through before the salt turn in to the final production.

Finished the tour and come back to the Resort around 4 or 5 p.m for leisure.

Day 3 | Full day tour Bokor National Park, check-out and transfer to the Kampot city.

09:00am: Leaving from the Resort to Bokor National Park

 Lok Yeay Mao the Goddess of protector, has been well-known for keeping peace and calm in forest and coastal provinces of Cambodia, Kampot, Kep and Sihanouk Ville. On the corner of this sacred statue, you will see Damnak Sla Khmao Palace an abandoned summer residence of King Sihanouk that was used between the 50s and 60s. Nowadays the ruins are taken over by natures.

Sampov Pram Pagoda: It is an old temple that is a place of worship of Cambodian. The Pagoda has five oddly shaped boat rocks and much unique architecture. Especially, this place is located forward the sea that make a perfect combination of nature and spirituality. Behind the temple is breath-taking view of the sapphire sea and emerald green jungle you will be amazed. Great views are over the rainforest to the coastline below, and across the sea to Koh Trorl Island – on a clear day.

The Old Catholic Church located nearby the renovated Hill Station in the Bokor Mountain in Kampot to the South of Cambodia. Combined with a myriad of other various abandoned architectures in the complex of Bokor Hill Station, the old church plays a crucial part in attracting loads of visitors to this destination every year. The church maintains a well-known history as it was constructed in 1920 by the French colonialists when they invaded and ruled out Cambodia.

Le Bokor Palace is the main building of the Bokor hill station in Cambodia’s Kampot province. The location choice at 1000up meters altitude to provide the settlers tired of the hot weather in Cambodia, especially during the dry season and to avoid repatriation to the metropolis. Le Bokor Palace is the “heaven” for French. It was the famous summer escape for the French elites and royal family. Le Bokor Palace on the edge of the cliff which steeply overlooks the maritime coast of Cambodia, so called “Opal Coast”. Enjoying a moderate climate and unusually picturesque location. François Marius Baudoin, Résident-supérieur, to decide creates a “health resort” on Bokor Mountain is part of the Elephant Mountain range of Cambodia in 1912. The building set up at the green mountains and the blue sea, near the cliff. The best location offers a bird’s eye view of the “Opal Coast”. as well as the grand mountain views.

Popokvil Waterfall located in Bokor National Park close to Kampot town in Cambodia. This Waterfall with a pool surrounded by beautiful scenery and pleasant weather makes it a popular destination for tourists visiting Kampot Province. During summer, most of the water dries up, and you can find people camping near the rocks beside the Waterfall. You can hike to the base of the falls during all the seasons except the rainy season when the water flow is at the highest. In this walking trail, if you are lucky, you can also spot some exciting wildlife, such as giant red squirrels and macaques.

Popokvil Lake has a rich history dating back to the 1920s. During the French colonial era, the mountain was developed as a resort for the wealthy and elite. The lake was created as part of this development and it quickly became a popular spot for boating and picnicking.

Over the years, the lake has gone through many changes. During the Khmer Rouge regime, the mountain was abandoned and left to decay. The lake was used as a dumping ground for bodies and the once-beautiful resort was left in ruins.

Around 13:00: Back to our Resort and enjoy the Lunch of either Khmer or Western Set Menu.

15:15: Transfer to the Bus or Railway at the Kampot city for departure.
